Gérard Gauby is 'the uncrowned king of the Roussillon', and even his so-called 'entry-level' wines, 'Les Calcinaires' are exceptional. Both red and white are capable of ageing wonderfully, and this 2004 Blanc is an amazing find. With around 15 years of age behind it, it has remarkable freshness and layers of complexity.
