Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay 2022
Master of Wine Michael Brajkovich makes arguably the best Chardonnays in New Zealand. The Kumeu River range is high quality across the board, offering excellent value for money. At the heart of the range is the Estate wine, made with fruit from six vinyeard sites in the Kumeu region. It is fermented in old barrels with wild yeasts, where it also matured for eleven months before release. It is a remarkably fine wine at a great price, immediately enjoyable but with ageing potential.
