Zafeirakis 2017 Limniona
Regular price £23/
Is Limniona, the Greek grape variety championed by Christos Zafeirakis, Greece's answer to Pinot Noir? On this evidence, it's quite possible. Aged in a 50-50 mix of new and used oak barrels. This is a soft, approachable red with a gentle texture. It also ages superbly, becoming increasingly Pinot-like with time in the cellar as it develops complexity. If you like Burgundy - try this.
