Talbot make very good, ageworthy Bordeaux which is always excellent value. 1988 was an outstanding vintage but needed time in the bottle to soften. This is now drinking wonderfully.

Blend The blend varies by vintage, but the vineyards are made up of around 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, with an average vine age of 50 years.
